Aston Business School is one of the largest and most successful business schools in Europe. Our outstanding reputation is reflected in our consistently high league table positions. Business at Aston has featured in the top 10 ranking in The Times newspaper for 7 out of the last 8 years. We are amongst just 1% of business schools worldwide to have achieved accreditation from three independent international business authorities – EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA and we are ranked 9th in the UK for the quality of our research.
Our undergraduate courses have one simple aim – to get students ready for a life in the forefront of business. To this end, our curriculum is robust, relevant and rooted in the real world. Great Future
Aston Business School offers a wide range of business related undergraduate degree programmes from specialist to broad based degrees and an LLB Law degree. Degrees covering subjects such as Business and Management, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources (HR), Economics, International Business, Business IT and Consultancy equip students with the specialist skills and knowledge to succeed in their chosen field.
Our integrated placement year is optional for our Chinese students but it provides paid graduate level work experience and helps equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed within graduate level careers. This is demonstrated by our consistently high levels of graduate employment with over 80% of our students in graduate-level jobs six months after finishing their degrees. We are proud that a third of our graduates are offered employment at their placement companies.
Great Campus
The Aston University campus is close knit, safe and friendly. All students placing us as their first choice institution are guaranteed on-campus accommodation throughout the first year of their studies. The campus offers all of the academic, sports and social facilities you will need for student living. There are many student societies and clubs, including a very active Chinese Society, where you can share interests and make friends.
Great Location
Birmingham is the UK’s second city and its central location makes it a good base from which to explore the rest of the UK. London, Manchester and Cardiff are all within easy travelling distance. Our students enjoy an enviable lifestyle, situated close to the city centre with easy access to shops, restaurants other city centre amenities. Birmingham offers many cultural attractions including museums, art galleries, ballet, music venues, cinemas and theatres. Birmingham is home to two premiership football teams. The city is also home to many ethnic Chinese and there is a sizeable Chinese Quarter within the city centre.
