School of Humanities and Science
 

The school offers students high quality teaching and access to excellent library and computer facilites. You can study Archaeology, English, History, Environmental Management, Global Citizenship, Information Technology, Languages, Philosophy & Religious Studies and Sports Studies. Psychology will be introduced in September 2004.

Archaeology and History were awarded a 3A rating in the last Research Assessment Exercise and all subject areas utilise current research to enhance their teaching. Opportunities also exist for progression to postgraduate courses within the School including MA English Literature, MA Environmental Management and MA Historical Landscapes.
