matter where in the world you are studying if you are
a full-time student the ISIC is your International Student
Identity Card for loads of savings on travel arrangements,

Accepted
in over 90 countries, the ISIC is the one and only internationally
recognised proof of full-time student status in existence.
It is endorsed by UNESCO and is recommended by established
student travel guidebooks. The international student
identity Card (ISIC) Association developed this card
over 40 years ago and today it is the one and only proof
of full-time status. Since 1968 the ISIC has helped
over 30 million students make the most of their travel
experience. Nearly 3 million students worldwide will
get an ISIC this year!
As
proof of your student status, the ISIC is your passport

get your card all you need is proof that you are enrolled
in full time studies and a passport sized photo. You
can apply in person or through the mail to one of the
5,000 ISIC issuing offices around the world.
Who
is eligible for an ISIC?
It's
simple! If you are a full-time student you qualify for
the ISIC. Being enrolled in full-time studies at an
accredited institution is the only requirement. You
can be in high school or in post-secondary studies,
but you must be at least 12 years old. There is no upper-age
limit for ISIC, but the full-time students of all ages
can benefit from their special status. Keep in mind
thought that some businesses and airlines may have their
own rules which restrict discounts to a certain age
group.
When
you apply for the card, you will have to present proof
that you are currently attending school full-time at
a recognised institution. This could be either your
current student ID or a signed letter on official stationary
from your school. Then you will be issued a card that
will quickly prove you are a student in over 95 countries
around the world. From then on, all you will need to
prove that you are a student anywhere you go is your
ISIC!
